What We Do

Palpung Phende Kunkyab Foundation (PPKF) is a Canadian registered charitable organization (865101349RR0001)  established to support the activities of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. This includes financial support for the education, medical care, food and clothing needs of the monastic community, as well as support for the monastic schools,  college (Shedra),  nunneries, free clinics and retreat centers in Northern India.

PPKF is run by a five Board of Directors, who are all volunteer members and give their time and financial support to support the activities of Sherabling.

Our objectives
  • To preserve the Tibetan culture, language and Buddhist way of life.        
  • Provide opportunities for noble monks/nuns in their aspirations to serve others.
  • Give monks/nuns a better education and livelihood.
  • Free medical and optical care for the poor.
