November 28, 2024

From November 9, 2024, evening sessions were held for seven days from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at Palpung Yeshi Rabgyeling Nunnery to conclude this year's curriculum in philosophy and Buddhist sciences. In the presence of the nunnery's khenpos, teachers, and staff, junior nuns engaged in discussions on the foundations of Buddhism in Hindi, Tibetan, and English, while senior nuns conducted in-depth question-and-answer sessions, presentations, and analytical discussions on advanced topics including "The Sublime Continuum," Madhyamaka philosophy, Prajnaparamita, "The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva," "The Gateway to Knowledge," as well as the "Collected Topics," "Categories of Mind," and "Signs and Reasoning." The discussions explored challenging points in both general and specialized Buddhist treatises, opening the doors of understanding through comprehensive analysis and debate.
