To fulfil the hopes of devotees from Spiti and Kinnaur, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa began his Dharma tour on August 30, 2022, by granting an audience, giving blessings, and performing consecrations for residents of Chattru and other related devotees. Following that, he granted an audience to devotees at Batal. On top of Kunzum Pass, Guru Vajradhara granted an audience to the welcome committee from Chango village and devotees from Spiti valley and performed a smoke offering ritual. Then, he was welcomed by representatives of Spiti Sakya Tangyud and other monasteries at Takcha, after which he granted them an interview. After granting an audience to the people from Losar village, Guru Vajradhara travelled on to Sakya Tangyud Monastery in Kaza.
On the following day at the Sakya monastery, Guru Vajradhara bestowed a long life empowerment and teachings. On September 1, he gave a teaching to local devotees at Tabo Monastery in Spiti, after which he fulfilled the requests of the villagers of Horling, Sumra, and Shalkar by making stops at these villages, until he concluded his journey by reaching Palpung Ozer Rabgye Ling in Chango.
On September 3, Guru Vajradhara graced the concluding ritual of the one hundred million "mani" mantras accumulation in Chango, during which he also gave a teaching. Over the following two days, also in Chango, he bestowed a teaching on "Resting in the Nature of Mind" and a long life empowerment to the general public.
On September 6, Guru Vajradhara visited several local monasteries and the Tibetan clinic in Chango, where he performed consecration ceremonies and gave teachings.
On the day after that, Guru Vajradhara bestowed teachings, performed consecrations, and granted public audiences at Malling and Nako, after which he also made stops at Namgia, Pooh, Kalpa, Rampur, and other places, where he granted audiences to local devotees, performed consecrations, and conducted prayers. In this way, through his skillful activities Guru Vajradhara fulfilled all the Dharma wishes of fortunate disciples.
