As a conclusion to this year's classes at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's University of Buddhist Sciences, on December 19, 2022 a commemoration of the omniscient mahapandita Situ Panchen Chökyi Jungne's life and activities was held at the monastic seat's Golden Stupa Temple. In the presence of Khenpo Gyaltsen Phuntsok, the directors of several other departments, and the university's teachers, the Sanskrit, medicine, and astrology students recited sutras and eulogies in Sanskrit, Hindi, and Tibetan languages,along with presenting lectures on reading mantras and Sanskrit grammar, as well as discourses on difficult points of Tibetan sciences of poetics, synonymics, and grammar.They also engaged in comparative discussions and held question and answer sessions. The event was auspiciously concluded with a teaching on the omniscient Situ Panchen's activities byKhenpo Gyaltsen Phuntsok.
