Guru Vajradhara Visits the Tibet Museum and Library of Tibetan Works and Archives

During Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa's visit to Dharamsala to receive the Avalokiteshvara Jinasagara empowerment, on June 15, 2022, he also visited the Tibet Museum and the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives. He was accompanied by the Secretary, Additional Secretary and Staff of the Department of Religion and Culture, as well as the two representatives of the Kagyu Tradition in Tibetan Parliament. First, Guru Vajradhara was offered a tour of the Tibet Museum's exhibitions of the history of Tibet, its ecosystems and environment, its religious traditions and customs, and its arts and crafts. He concluded the tour by offering his prayers and compliments to the museum’s staff.

After that, Guru Vajradhara was offered a tour of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives by its Director Ven. Geshe Lhakdor. While engaging in relaxed conversation, they visited the various sections of the library, such as its manuscript section that houses treatises composed by Tibetan scholars and siddhas, and its printing and publishing sections, as well as its exhibitions of sacred statues, ornaments, clothing, implements, and other elements of Tibetan religion and culture.
