On May 7, 2022, the Vice Chairman and members of the Central Council of Tibetan Medicine, the Settlement Officer and Secretary of Bir Dege Settlement, and a doctor from the Tibetan Primary Health Centre in Bir paid a visit to Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat’s Dönnyi Norbui Gatsal University of Buddhist Sciences. The university's principal along with its teachers and staff offered them a tour of the university's activities, which included a presentation of its study and practice curriculum, production establishments, and the diagnostics and treatment programs of its individual departments of medicine and astrology.
