On July 5, 2022, Guru Vajradhara H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was escorted by the monastic seat's Thubten Dongag Chökhor Ling Tantric College's leaders, along with a procession of monks carrying incense, to its shrine hall where he was presented with an exhibition of the graduates' tormas, torma ornaments, sand mandalas, poems, and calligraphies.
After that, Guru Vajradhara arrived at the monastery courtyard, where the graduation ceremony began with an offering of the mandala and the three representations, along with a serving of tea and sweet rice, followed by a presentation of the five excellent circumstances, as well as the introduction of the program and the progress report by the school's principal.
The graduates and other students then presented discussions and analyses of several topics, such as the life story of Shantideva, the development of bodhichitta, the tantric vows, the graded path of creation and completion, the mandalas of an ocean of tantras, and the difficult points of "Situ's Great Commentary on 'Thirty Verses' and 'Guide to Signs.'"
The program continued with Guru Vajradhara presenting certificates to the first batch of graduates and prizes to the top students in the 2021 annual examination, as well as appointing the monastic seat's chanting masters and specialized visual transmission teachers and handing over the responsibility to the tantric college's new director.
The graduation ceremony was auspiciously concluded with a profound teaching by Guru Vajradhara, in which he spoke about the benefits of developing a pure perception towards all Buddha's teachings. He also encouraged everyone to do their best to develop eight qualities that will ensure that they become good human beings, which comprises the basis of being a good Dharma practitioner, such as a stable character, broad-mindedness, a vast outlook, a noble disposition, pure intentions, an altruistic attitude, a high view, and a fine conduct.
