On August 12, 2022, to celebrate the parinirvana of Lord Gampopa, elaborate offerings of the five enjoyments and ganachakra substances were arranged in Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's main shrine hall. The monastic seat's tulkus, lamas, khenpos, and its entire monastic community then joined the online celebration with the recitation of Gampopa Guru Sadhana, along with a ganachakra. The commemoration of lives and activities of the forefathers of the Kagyu lineage was concluded with an offering of butter lamps and traditional "Full Moon" ceremonial music on the monastery's rooftop.
