On June 27, 2022, Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's health department organized the administration of Covid-19 vaccine boosters provided by the Central Tibetan Administration's Department of Health. Mr Dawa Phunkyi, Executive Secretary of Delek Hospital, and a medical team from Fortis Hospital in Kangra were invited to the monastic seat, and 324 tulkus, lamas, monks, nuns, and related workers received the booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
